Feng Shui For Kids

I know that some people get this idea about Feng Shui that it only applies to large establishments. After all , we have this notion that Feng Shui is for luck. Actually, if you have read my earlier post, you would see that it is more than that.

In fact, Feng Shui can be used to decorate a child's bedroom; that is according to Certified Feng Shui Practitioner Dr. Katherine Grace Morris as reported by Rental Decorating Digest.

According to Dr. Morris: "To balance a child's life, I'd first look at what is in his or her room and what is going on in the child's life. The room and the child are part of a system, so they need to be examined together. Does he have trouble focusing? I would then make the bedroom especially soothing, with soft fabrics, sounds of nature and task-specific lighting."

"A child needs rest, just as adults do, so I would moderate the stimulation level of the room so that it is sleep-conducive when bed-time rolls around. Very bright colors should be avoided for this reason. Having storage places or bins to put away toys and crafts when play time is over helps signal the brain it's time for sleep," she continued.

You can continue reading the article here ands I hope that it will find you that perfect atmosphere for your kids' room. And maybe, you can find there other hints regarding Valentines gifts for men, after all, it’s the season of the hearts.
